• Deep understanding of cloud computing and data technologies, business drivers, emerging computing trends, and deployment options in one or more clouds: Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Closely work with the business stakeholders on evaluating and adopting strategic, impactful data focused solutions.
• Strong understanding about modern data platform architecture including data extraction, data ingestion, data processing, visualization capabilities..
• Experience in ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data using at least one big data platform in industry.
• Experience using Big Data or Cloud integration technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Azure DataBricks, Azure Data Lake and Azure Synapse or equivalent components in other cloud providers(AWS, GCP).
• Hands-on Experience in one or more Database products (including SQL, no-SQL databases) .
• Deep understanding of Application, Infrastructure, and security architecture and non-functional aspects like Performance, Scalability, Reliability, Availability, etc.
• Fair understanding of container technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, and one or more its flavors – AKS, GKE, Redhat Openshift, EKS, etc.
• Good awareness of DevSecOps, Agile methodologies, CI/CD, and tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub, and Ansible.
• Experience with software and product development lifecycle (incl. coding, coding standards and reviews, source control, testing, debugging, build, deployment, and operations)
• Experience with blogging and writing technical articles for an existing follower base. Speaking experience at technology conferences will be an added advantage.
To qualify for the role, you must have
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• B.E/B.Tech from a reputed institute
• 8+ years of deep technology experience at very large enterprises or web-scale product companies
• 5+ years of architecture, design, implementation, and/or support of software products on cloud technologies and data platforms.
• Technical Certification in relevant technologies
• Prior Experience in one or more roles such as Software Developer, Cloud Architect, Data Architect, Technical Advocate, or technical community manager.
• Experience working in global teams and stakeholder management. You are Glocal, i.e.
o Can coordinate/collaborate with teams & stakeholders in multiple geographies
o Manage teams with participants in multiple geographies.
o Can quickly form strong working relationships with colleagues within and outside your location
• Experience in presenting ideas, papers, and patents to varied audiences
